WELCOME

We are the Friends of Coal Creek

COME IMMERSE YOURSELF IN 1870S – 1920S RURAL LIFE

Coal Creek Community Park and Museum is a recreated coal mining village that depicts the history of Korumburra; from everyday life, to the coal fields and the early agricultural development of the are.

Coal Creek is now a dog-friendly park. So why not bring your best friend in for a walk? Please keep your dog on a leash at all times, as we do have a lot of wildlife in the park. Children under 16 to be accompanied by an adult.

We acknowledge the Bunurong people as the Traditional Custodians of the Country upon which Coal Creek Community Park and Museum stands and the stories we represents, which have always been part of this land and its waters. We acknowledge and pay respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
